Kitchen & Bath Specialist (Showroom Sales)

As a leader in the kitchen and bath industry throughout New York for over 70 years, Green Art places customer satisfaction first. We’re an expanding company in search of sales representatives who are excellent communicators and display superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years sales experience.
  • Experience with kitchen/bath/home products and/or interior design.
  • Attend monthly sales meetings.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and maintain accurate sales statistics.
  • Market the business to new clients.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and other departments.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure maximization of sales, minimize asset loss, and conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Perform work of subordinates as needed.
  • Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Communicate with all levels of management and other employees.

Commercial Sales

Commercial Sales

Qualified candidate will be responsible for selling plumbing supply products to commercial/wholesale businesses within a defined service area. This position requires teamwork with others in the department to make sure that each customer is being helped appropriately.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Manage accounts to maintain current service revenue streams and generate new revenues from the sale of our products and services.
  • Responsible for all aspects of client relationships and sales cycle including: sales to new and existing clients, price negotiation, pipeline management, training, and marketing support.
  • Must be able to prospect, qualify, and close multiple opportunities while maintaining ongoing business partner relationships.
  • Meet sales quotas for each month, quarter, and year
  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
  • Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities.
  • Submit orders, paperwork, and activity reports, as required.
  • Associates Degree or higher + at least 3 years in the industry or 5 years in a related field.
  • Must be able to speak English fluently and have interpersonal skills dealing with customers.
  • Must be proficient with PC computers. Eclipse knowledge preferred.
  • Must be able to work well with others in the department.

Warehouse Staff

Warehouse Staff

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Operating heavy machinery. Hi Lo experience a must.
  • Pulling products from shelves and restocking items to correct places.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Preparing orders for shipment by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat.
  • Must wear the proper safety equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Good communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.

The Counter Salesperson will increase sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting walk-in and telephone customers in the selection and acquisition of needed products, by applying technical knowledge to satisfy customer needs.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Order fulfillment – picking items to complete customers’ orders correctly.
  • Must be quick learner with PC computers and order management software (Eclipse).
  • Keep counter clean and organized.
  • Keep inventory stocked.
  • Write up customer orders and returns accurately.
  • Let management know what isn’t in stock and any price discrepancies.
  • Assist in pulling truck tickets.
  • Involved with shipping, receiving, and transfers if necessary.
  • Build and maintain customer relations. Customer service experience a plus.
  • Education – High school Diploma or G.E.D.
  • No experience necessary – willing to train the right candidate. Prior plumbing, sprinkler, hardware, or supply house experience a plus.
  • Apex Technical School/BOCES a plus.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for up to eight hours.
