How long has Green Art been in business?

Green Art has been in the plumbing supply business for over 70 years. Learn more about our company here.

What’s with the name?

The company is named after a dear family friend of the founders. His name was Arthur Green.

What is your pricing range?

We price our products competitively because we know how easy it is to find anything and everything online these days. But we don’t skimp on quality – with Green Art, you know you’re getting the best products that last a lifetime.

Do you install?

We do not do installation, but we can recommend a local plumber or contractor to get the job done.

Do you deliver to NYC?

Yes, we deliver throughout New York City and the five boroughs.

I need a replacement part but I’m not sure which one I need.

What is the timeframe for replacement of damaged or defective material?

Stock items take up to 7-10 days to be replaced. Special order items vary by item.

Can I shop online?

While we do have a few of our featured brands’ products, we are still working on getting our online inventory up and running. Stay tuned!

Do you have tile?

We do not supply tile, however our kitchen & bath specialists can recommend options and refer you to a tile supplier.

What should I bring to my appointment?

  • Inspiration and ideas for your vision.
  • Measurements of your space.
  • Timeframe and budget for your project.
  • Your contractor’s information.

I’m not exactly sure what I want?

How long should I expect my appointment to last?

Approximately 1-2 hours depending on the extent of your project. It is possible you may need to make a follow-up appointment.

What should I expect during my appointment?

  • You will verify that all the items on your order will fit the specifications of your space.
  • Sign the spec sheets and, if applicable, the special order forms as special order items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Provide us with a current email address so that we can send you timely notifications regarding your order.

What happens after my appointment?

Review your order to be sure you haven’t forgotten anything (accessories, hardware, etc.) and all sizing is correct.

  • Please be sure your contractor is aware of any items that have been specially ordered for you.
  • Upon request, we will provide you and your contractor with a spec book that includes all specifications to verify sizing on all your products.
  • Our support team will contact you to review:
    • Lead times for any items not currently in stock
    • An estimated arrival date.
    • If lead times should change, there may be other options to maintain the timeframe on your project.

I’m picking up my order. What happens first?

Your salesperson and/or our support staff will let you know when your order is ready for pick up. Verify with them which location and at what time you will be picking up your items (pickup locations & hours). The balance on your order is due prior to pickup of any items.

When is the best time to pick up my order?

We recommend picking up your order between 7:00 AM and 2:30 PM on weekdays.

Where do I go to pick up my order?

The receptionist will direct you to the proper area.

What is the average wait time when picking up my order?

With over 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, it could take our staff over 30 minutes to pull your materials. Please plan accordingly. We appreciate your patience!

What are my options for delivery?

Curbside: Your items will be unloaded from the truck at your curb. (Be sure to have some assistance there to help bring large items inside the day of.)

White Glove: Your items will be unloaded from the truck and carried inside your home (and upstairs if requested at time of scheduling). Notify us of any items that must be carried upstairs. Please note: We do not unbox or remove trash.

*Please schedule your delivery at least 5 days in advance.

*All orders must be paid in full prior to scheduling a delivery.

What do I do upon delivery of my order?

Check to make sure you have received everything. You have up to 24 hours to report any missing or damaged items to our Aftercare Team via email or call (516) 379-0449 x806.

Can I view products online?

Once you set up an account with us, you can register your online account. Once approved, you can log in to check stock, view invoices, and more.

Can I get credit terms?

Does your company handle large projects?

Yes, we have supplied some of the larger commercial projects in NYC and Long Island, including sports stadiums, schools, hospitals, airport terminals, and more.

Do you supply high-rise building projects?

Yes, we can deliver pipes and other heavy material via our fleet of boom trucks throughout the five boroughs.
